I had a wonderful opportunity to meet up with Malin from my DTS and also visit Bremen, Germany. Malin and I haven't see each other for almost 2 years, so we decided to do something fun together and meet in Bremen.
I definitely recommend Bremen as a travel/vacation destination - beautiful architecture, fun things to see, many shops and lots of Kebab places everywhere. Next time I would go in May though as with the blowing wind, it was a little cold.
I think I know why I was not able to go on a School of Pioneering and Leadership in Germany - I like that country too much. It probably would have been really-really difficult to leave. I don't know why it is like that, maybe because Germany was the first country I ever lived abroad at.
And despite I was sure i would never find Malin in that place, because we had a "little" misunderstanding on where we should meet and one of ours phone was dead, everything turned out well and we had great 2 days together :)
Funny thing was that sometimes when I was speaking with the Germans, out of my mouth came Norwegian and then when I thought I was speaking Norwegian with Malin, she looked at me confused and said, "Why are you speaking German with me?" My poor brain was so messed up after all this :)
Can't get around the Bremen City Musicians, those animals are in different forms everywhere.Funny thing was that sometimes when I was speaking with the Germans, out of my mouth came Norwegian and then when I thought I was speaking Norwegian with Malin, she looked at me confused and said, "Why are you speaking German with me?" My poor brain was so messed up after all this :)
Breakfast in Starbuks, mmm...
I really like Kebab, and unfortunately I haven't found a good kebab place in Estonia yet, so I decided for a Döner Palace, not just place :)
Bemen has really cool architecture.
And I really like how the old and the new mix together.
And what is visiting Germany without a drinking some bier. I actually don't like beer that much, but this is Radler or Alster as it is called outside Bavaria. It's a beer mixed with lemonade, so it's not so bitter and as strong as a regular beer.
Yes, think about this for a little while. Oh, it says, "Visions cause unity!"
Looking forward to my next trip to Germany. I'd like to visit a friend in Magdeburg :)
